JOB OPPORTUNITIES

  • Can I search for job opportunities with specific search criteria?

Yes. Within the Savage Careers website you can search jobs by keywords, category, and location. The system will display all current job openings that match your specified criteria.

  • What if I don’t see a job posted in my area?

Savage posts positions as they become available. If you do not see the location you are interested in, we currently do not have jobs in that location – but opportunities are changing all the time at Savage. We encourage you to check back regularly for new listings.

  • What if I don’t see a job I’m qualified for that interests me?

Savage posts positions as they become available. If you don’t see a job you are interested in, we encourage you to check back regularly for new listings.

  • I am qualified for the position for which I applied. Why wasn’t I contacted?

There are many reasons that candidates aren’t selected to continue with the interview process. The job market is busy right now, and we often receive dozens or hundreds of applications for positions.

    • We screen on qualifications, so while you may be minimally qualified you might not be one of the most qualified candidates
    • At times, business needs change and openings are modified or cancelled
    • We believe in hiring from within, so often we choose an internal candidate
    • You may have applied late in the process, when interviews are already well underway

Opportunities are changing all the time at Savage. Even if you aren’t considered for a specific role, we encourage you to continue to apply for other positions for which you are qualified.
