Savage Appoints Amy Smedley as EVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

SALT LAKE CITY – Savage, a global provider of industry infrastructure and supply chain services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Smedley as the Company’s new Executive Vice President (EVP), General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective January 10, 2022. Prior to joining Savage, Ms. Smedley was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Huntsman Corporation, a public, multinational manufacturer and marketer of chemical products based in Houston, TX. She also practiced law with a firm in Salt Lake City. Ms. Smedley has extensive experience in corporate governance, compliance, litigation, government affairs, trade compliance, risk management, mergers and acquisitions and other related legal issues.

Ms. Smedley earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a juris doctor degree from Brigham Young University where she was a member of the BYU Law Review.  She is admitted to both the Utah and California (inactive) bars.

Kelly Flint, who joined Savage in 2003, and has served as EVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since 2008, will be retiring effective June 30, 2022.
