Savage named Utah International Business of the Year

Utah Governor Gary Herbert selected Savage as the 2020 Utah International Business of the Year, recognizing the Company at the Utah Economic and Energy Summit on October 26, 2020. CEO Kirk Aubry accepted the award on behalf of the Company.

“We’re honored to be named Utah’s International Business of the Year,” said Kirk. “It’s our Team Member commitment and the culture created by our trailblazing founders — Kenneth, Neal and Luke Savage — that inspire us all to do the right thing, find a better way, and make a difference. This award is a reflection of the great work our people do every day.”

Prior to the event, Kirk, Energy and Chemical Sector President Brad Crist and Agriculture Sector President Bob Knief (who joined remotely) met privately with Mexico’s Ambassador to the United States, Martha Bárcena Coqui. The group discussed Savage’s existing operations in Mexico and opportunities for continued partnership and investment in Mexico’s economy.
