Crystal C. Maggelet Joins Savage Board of Directors

Salt Lake City, Utah – Sept. 25, 2013 – Savage is pleased to announce that Crystal Call Maggelet has joined the Company’s Board of Directors. Maggelet has significant experience in industrial supply chain services and expertise in the oil and gas markets through her tenure with FJ Management, which includes Big West Oil.

Crystal Maggelet is CEO and President of FJ Management Inc., and Founder of Crystal Inns Hotels & Suites. FJ Management, Inc., formerly known as Flying J, Inc., is a diversified family business that was started by Crystal’s father, Jay Call, in 1968. It’s wholly owned subsidiaries include Big West Oil, which operates a petroleum refinery in North Salt Lake, Utah; Maverik, Inc., a 245-unit fuel and convenience store chain operating in 10 western states; and TAB Bank, an industrial loan chartered bank offering commercial financing to small and medium-sized businesses nationwide. Additionally, FJM holds significant stakes, and is an active investor in EFS, a credit card processing company serving the transportation industry, as well as Pilot Flying J, the nation’s 6th largest private company, and operator of nearly 600 travel centers nationwide.

Ms. Maggelet has been a member of the FJM (formerly Flying J) Board of Directors for 30 years and currently serves as its Chair. In 2010, she was named Chair of the EFS Executive Committee and became a member of the Board of Managers at Pilot Flying J. She also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Maverik, Inc. and is on the Executive Committee of Big West Oil, LLC. She serves on the advisory boards for the University of Utah and Utah State University business schools, as well as the Salt Lake YWCA and Children’s Theatre. Ms. Maggelet graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Pepperdine University in 1985 and holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School..
